This fund raiser for the seniors of Tercera Edad will be held at the exotic El Eden nursery, just before the Tercera Edad premises, Sunday 22 February, 1 – 6 pm. Ticket price, 250 pesos, includes entry and all you can eat BBQ: burgers, dogs, etc. Cash bar, tequila raffle and 50-50 raffle, various games to participate in or to watch and cheer them on ! Live music from the delightful Emalee Hill, and her father will be joining in too, so a musical treat not to be missed.
Directions: coming from Mega, in the Northbound lateral, turn 2nd right onto Encino: taco restaurant on one corner, bright orange hardware store on the other. Encino is a paved road. Continue 2 short blocks, the nursery is on both sides of the road: see lots of lovely plants for sale on the left! The event is on the right – you’ll be amazed at this delightful venue.
The funds will go towards providing medical assistance for these seniors, and also dental treatment – some of them didn’t have teeth before, but now they do !
