Monday 16 September is Mexican Independence Day – and we are going to celebrate being here!
4pm – 6pm – or whenever the food’s all gone and the dancing stops – this will be out at the delightful Tercera Edad – the senior citizens’ facility. Easy to find! At the Southern end of Bucerias, get in the lateral, ignore the very first right and take the second right – Calle Encino – it’s a nice paved road – although there are a few holes…Follow this road. Admire the El Eden Nursery and the Recyclers yard! (Number 4 on the Elements Map). When you get to the canal turn right and the TE is on the right just a few yards along.
We have toilets and shelter so the party is ON come rain or shine!
Please bring food to share with 6 others, your own drinks, cups, plates and eating tools. There is a suggested donation of 20 pesos to go towards their funds.
This is NOT just for Amigos it is for everyone, so please consider yourself personally invited – and please bring along some friends too – all nationalities! These seniors are delighted we want to celebrate with them so we’re hoping for a really good turn out. I know you guys just like to sit in the corner, chewing the fat, spitting and – scratching. But the ladies love to dance – so adopt a granny and let’s give them a twirl!
