The meeting was called to order at 9:30 am by President Rick Kranefuss who welcomed everyone and thanked Delicias Mexicanas for breakfast.
La junta fue llamada al orden a las 9:30 am por el Presidente Rick Kranefuss quien dio la bienvenida a todos y agradeció a pol el desayuno.

Treasurer’s Report / Reporte del Tesorero
Paddy Keenan presented the Financial Report. Total in bank was $115, 091.00 at the end of last month. Most of those funds are for Paws and Claws. Motion to accept: Val Kryskow and Marg Smith

Sue Fornoff advised having another clinic at the Library November 16 – 19th. Looking for volunteers to help with organization and fundraising, if interested please contact Sue.

Recycling Program / Programa de Reciclaje
Rick Kranefuss will be giving the report for Neil Lamb. July we collected 372 bags, August was 447 bags and September was 397 bags. Problem with Monroy (the people who pick up our recycling) have not picked up in approximately 4 months. The recycling yard is full of 300 jumbo bags of recycling. Monroy keep promising to come but have not been. Thank you to the summer crews who have gone out and collected the recycling.

Julio recolectamos 372 sacos, Agosto 447 sacos y Septiembre 397 sacos.Problema con Monroy (personas que recogen nuestro reciclaje) hace aproximadamente cuatro meses que no recogen. El patio de reciclaje está lleno de 300 bolsas gigantes de reciclaje. Gracias a las cuadrillas de verano que han salido a recoger el reciclaje.
Street Light Program / Programa de Alumbrado Publico
Dick Pickup informed will be discussing the future of the Street Light Program at the November meeting.
Dick Pickup informó que discutirá el futuro del Programa de alumbrado público en la reunión de noviembre.
Mic Time / Tiempo en el Micrófono
- Joy is a volunteer with Hearts for Arts. They are a group of artists creating murals around town. A parade will be held in Bucerias November 2nd for Day of the Dead. Looking for volunteers to help make this event a success.
Joy es voluntaria de Hearts for Arts. Son un grupo de artistas creando murales alrededor de la ciudad. Se realizará un desfile en Bucerias el 2 de noviembre por el Día de Muertos. Buscando voluntarios para ayudar a que este evento sea un éxito.
- Dee Halkin is representing the Library and their Calendar Sales. Calendars will be ready mid-October. Dee will bring to November meeting. The price this year is $250 pesos.

In closing, Rick will not be running for President in January. If you know anybody or are interested yourself, please keep this position in mind.
