The 11th Annual Rhythm ‘n’ Ribs was undoubtedly the biggest ever, with crowds estimated to be 1,500 – 1,700 over the evening. And the location on the land on Ave Las Palmas was the ideal venue for such numbers. Just over 183,000 pesos was raised for the Manos de Amor orphanage, a fabulous amount! But realise that it costs 55,000 pesos a month to opeate MdA and the committee say :”If we didn’t have other donors of cash, food, clothing, cleaning products etc. we couldn’t make it through the year.” RnR will be back at this location on 20 February 2016.Congratulations to the organisers, huge votes of thanks to all the many volunteers, the participants and to everyone for attending. It takes a village…
